  • What’s the difference between a hardwired and plug-in ATG-R01?

    Hardwired units come with a standard input whip, which requires a professional electrician to permanently connect the ATG-R01 to a home’s electrical system.

    Plug-in ATG-R01 come with a 240-volt NEMA 14-50P plug , which connect to a NEMA 14-50R receptacle often used for high-powered household items.

  • Do I need a professional electrician to install ATG-R01?

    ATG-R01-32A/ATG-R01-40A matches NEMA 14-50P plug, If you have an available 240V NEMA 14-50 receptacle near where you park your electric car, you will likely not need any professional work — you can simply plug in, connect to WiFi, and get going.

    ATG-R01-48A, which requires a professional electrician to permanently connect the charger to a home’s electrical system.

  • Where can I find the installation guide and setup instructions for WiFi and the app?

  • How to use APP to remotely control ATG-R01

  • Do I need WiFi setup at home?

    You will need a WiFi connection to use ATG e-Power smart charging features, such as power monitoring, scheduling, and reminders. In the absence of WiFi, your ATG-R01 will act as a standard charging unit, and any schedules or limits you set when connected to WiFi will remain, even if the ATG-R01 is no longer connected to WiFi. We highly recommend connecting your ATG-R01 to WiFi, but your car will charge even if you cannot connect.

  • Is ATG-R01 safety certified?

    Yes, ATG-R01 is ETL Listed, which means it adheres to the highest safety standards for electric vehicle supply equipment.

  • Is there a warranty?

    We also offer a 5-year limited warranty on residential charging stations. Please note that this warranty is only valid for use under normal residential operating conditions. Using a residential box outside of normal residential operating conditions, such as for commercial application, voids the residential warranty.
